St. Patrick’s Day? Saint Patrick’s Day?
As you nurse that green beer hangover, you might notice that we used “York Saint Patrick’s Day Parade” to describe the event that 10,000 people attended on the warm, sunny St. Patrick’s Day in downtown York. We spelled out Saint Patrick’s Day because that’s part of the official name of the parade.
The holiday is generally referred to as St. Patrick’s Day, so it’s OK if you see it that way in in other references.
