About slain Game Commission officer David L. Grove: A local law-enforcement hero
Pennsylvania Game Commission Officer David L. Grove teaches a nature class in McSherrystown, Adams County, Pa., earlier this year. The officer was killed this week while performing his duties in Freedom Township, Adams County. State police Sgt. Jonathan Mays, commander of the Gettysburg barracks said this about David Grove: “Last night, we lost a local law-enforcement hero. David L. Grove, who died in the line of duty this week, is among more than 200 U.S. wildlife officers who have been killed or have died while on duty.
