Gov. Tom Wolf: Photographs, videos give colorful picture of historic election day
Kate Penn’s photograph was one of hundreds captured by York, Pa., Daily Record/Sunday News photographers on an Election Day in which Pennsylvania elected York County’s own Tom Wolf as governor. As many anticipated, York County, with a big GOP registration lead, backed incumbent Tom Corbett, 57 percent to 43 percent. Here are a good dozen more photographs and videos about the day Wolf gained the big house, only the second York countian after George Leader to hold the state’s top executive seat. Also of interest: George Leader became Pennsylvania’s top governor from York County 60 years ago.
