The York County Heritage Trust contain directories of York, PA; which would normally be my starting point to answer the question: where would you buy these makes of cars in York? In this case the research was much easier. I found a list of York automobile dealers printed on a 1930 Map of the City of York PA.

If one wanted to purchase a LaSalle or Erskine, they would head to Anderson Motor Company on the southwest corner of King & Queen Streets in York. A Marmon automobile could be purchased at S. Lieberknecht Sons at 150 North Beaver Street.
Doll’s Garage at 335 West Market Street carried the Hupmobile. P. R. Wiest Motor Company, at 1890 West Market Street, sold the Oakland automobile.
The present home of the York County Heritage Trust on East Market Street was, back in 1930, J. W. Richley Auto Company. Richley’s is where one would purchase a Pierce-Arrow.
The six automobile makes are identified in the following image. If anyone got more than three correct, post a comment.
