NYC Exhibition of over 120 Artistic Works by Jeff Koons
Gary Wilson provided a link to an upcoming exhibition of over 120 artistic works by York County native Jeff Koons. The June 27th through October 19th, 2014, exhibition is entitled “Jeff Koons: A Retrospective”.
Jeff’s works at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City will fill nearly the entirety of the Whitney’s Marcel Breuer building. The exhibition next moves to Paris, opening at the Centre Pompidou, Musée national d’art moderne, on November 26th, 2014.
Gary Wilson previously provided a neat comment about artwork that hung in the headquarters building of York International Corporation. That comment led to the article: World Trade Center had 49,000 Tons of YORK Cooling. Within that article was a link to the post: Jeff Koons’ $33.7 Million Dollar Tulips; from Germany to Las Vegas. When Gary passed those Tulips in Las Vegas, he remembered seeing a recent announcement about the Jeff Koons’ exhibition in New York City and passed it on.
