This drawing of Highland Inn by J. A. Dempwolf, appeared in the September 16, 1893 issue of American Architect and Building News.
I have this page framed and hanging on the wall at home. I’ve always thought it was a neat design with all those gables, surrounding porch and lookout tower above the central staircase. I’ve never been able to find out any history about Highland Inn, or if it was ever built.
