Googling the Lincoln Highway Garage in Hallam

The post about The 1920s Lincoln Highway Garage in Hallam produced feedback from many aggravated readers; during my journeys of this past week. They all read the version on the ydr site, where the blog text and all links were edited out; leaving only most of the photos.

Several readers needed clarification in getting to “the other version” via a Google search. As an example, do a Google search on the three works: yorkspast lincoln garage

After Googling yorkspast (all one word), either alone or in a string of words, two similar sites are usually displayed. The ydr site is the edited site that occasionally drops photos, text and links.

The yorkblog site contains all the original text, full size photos and active links. I’ve placed an arrow indicating where to look for yorkblog in a string of Google search results; which provides access to the original YorksPast posts. See the following April 7, 2019 example Google search on the three works: yorkspast lincoln garage
