York Daily Record responds to kickball challenge from The Evening Sun
Since May, members of the York Daily Record/Sunday News have gathered once a week for a friendly kickball scrimmage.
The games are mildly competitive, but entirely fun – so much fun, in fact, that we made several attempts to invite our colleagues from The Evening Sun in Hanover to join us in the game.
On Thursday, Evening Sun journalists recorded a video and challenged us to a game of kickball. Their video challenge claims emails sent “came a few hours before” a game was scheduled and that if they had time to plan they “might actually win a kickball game.”
We have just two words for our colleagues – game on.
