1. What made you want to become a journalist?<\/strong> Dislike of substitute teaching job right after college.<\/p>\n

2. How do you see journalism changing?<\/strong> Byte by byte.<\/p>\n

3. What do you like most about your job? The least?<\/strong> The writing. The writing.<\/p>\n

4. It\u2019s 9:30 a.m. on a day off. What are you doing?<\/strong> Running or biking.<\/p>\n

5. What\u2019s been your favorite project or story recently? Why<\/strong>? An editorial project on ARD & Police. I think it made an important point. Also, I won a money prize for it.<\/p>\n

6. The drink that\u2019s on your desk right now is:<\/strong> Coffee.<\/p>\n

7. Your favorite journalism-related blog you read or Twitter feed you follow:<\/strong> Romenesko<\/a><\/p>\n

8. What\u2019s the last movie you saw in theaters? The last book you read?<\/strong> Movie: “Moneyball.” Book: “Don’t Be Cruel” by the great Mike Argento.<\/p>\n

9. What\u2019s your favorite place in York County?<\/strong> The hammock under the trees in my backyard on a nice summer Sunday. Good book, cold beer.<\/p>\n

10. What\u2019s one piece of newsroom jargon that had to be explained to you?<\/strong> I’ve been here too long to remember that.<\/p>\n
