WIRE: Fort Hood shooter sentenced to death
SLUG: TMI0828 —  Tonight, the NRC is hosting a public meeting in Hershey to discuss plans detailing the eventual decommissioning of Three Mile Island Unit 2. During the meeting, officials will discuss GPU’s Post-Shutdown Decommissioning Activities Report for TMI Unit 2 — a document that goes over how that unit is currently being maintained. Basically,  Unit 2 has been mothballed and will remain so until about 2044.  The public will have a chance tonight to voice their opinion. Meeting in from 7 to 9 p.m. (Adkins) DEADLINE: 10:30 p.m.
