SLUG: JOBS0403 — A drop in manufacturing jobs and ongoing efforts by retailers to further chisel away at their seasonal staff contributed to a slight drop in York County’s unemployment rate. In February, the county’s unemployment rate ticked down one-tenth of a percentage point to 7.8 percent compared to January, according to data released today by the state’s department of labor & industry.  (Adkins)
