Sports portraits, or Sportraits? Either way, Chris Dunn did great work

All-star week arrives at the York, Pa., Daily Record.

Call them sports portraits. Or call them sportraits.

GameTimePa’s Chris Dunn’s photographic work capturing fall sports all-stars is striking.

In a note (edited below), the YDR’s Brad Jennings explained Chris’s work on these GameTimePa all-star portraits:

You can’t imagine the amount of time, effort, planning, coordination and professional know-how that went into making these happen. And I think she knocked it out of the park.
(Quick anecdote: Check out the cool dusk lighting that went into No. 5, the girls’ cross country shot, and consider that it was 30 degrees and sleeting during the shoot.)
On top of that, Chris has lately been our tireless daily constant. Chris largely flew solo last Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. She’ll do the same this weekend.
She has handled the past two Penn State games solo (this adds video expectations on top of an already exhausting day of photo responsibilities). And she’ll do the same for Penn State’s upcoming bowl coverage.
Just thought her great work and heavy lifting was worth mention.

Chris Dunn is contributing to this project, too: Faces of York County.
