Scenes from GameTimePA’s trip to the YAIAA girls’ title game

The GameTimePA trio of Jessica Sprenkle, Cathy Hirko and myself had a great time Thursday night at York College for the YAIAA girls’ championship game (Dallastown defeated West York, 50-37).

Here’s a look at the game from our point of view:

The first thing we do no matter where we go is set up our table. Thursday, that meant getting our laptops set up to show our livestream/live chat, our District 3 champions contest and the pregame video we shot.

Before games, I always try to get with our writers to get some analysis that I can quickly edit and upload to GameTimePA. Thursday night, I got Matt Goul and Jim Seip in the press area and grabbed some footage of fans showing their spirit.

This is the view we had for the game.

That’s a look at the colorful student section.

Wolf Gymnasium was packed on both sides of the bleachers.

And this qualifies as my favorite picture of the night. Quite possibly my favorite picture of the GTPA crew during our NewsVroom trips.

Andrew was a big help Thursday, setting up tables for us and making sure we had everything we needed. So we gathered for a group “fish face” shot. That’s Cathy in the front, Jess on the right and I’m in the back.
