Reader uses York Daily Record, literally, to deliver message and donation about an endangered building
A reader wrote his or her sentiments about preservation of Spring Grove’s historic Hoke House on a clipping from the York Sunday News. The writer also included a gift.
Historian Paul Nevin emailed a clipping from a supportive soul about preserving the 1750s Hoke House in Spring Grove.
A $2 donation came along with the note.
“We’ve had many wonderful contributors, large and small … , he wrote.
