On improving our coverage of trauma victims — and taking care of the journalists who tell those stories
I wrote down some thoughts about what I hope to get out of a week in New York at the Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma, where I’ll be one of a dozen journalists studying best practices for covering trauma victims and for supporting the journalists who do that work.
I’d love to know your thoughts — anything I can take with me to New York, anything I can be thinking about or asking questions about up there, would be great to hear and would really help my approach to the training.
