NewsVroom is on the road!

If you see NewsVroom out and about, snap a photo and tag it on Facebook, tweet it out, or just email it to NewsVroom@ydr.com.

We are done with the planning and the designing. Finished with the wrapping and the promoting. Now it’s time for the fun part.

NewsVroom is on the road. We took delivery from Total Identity Solutions this afternoon. I’m as biased as a proud papa, so I leave it up to you to decide how this looks.

Staff of the York Daily Record and York Newspaper Co. cheer the arrival of NewsVroom Monday afternoon.

I’m so proud to see the artwork of Samantha Dellinger displayed so boldly. Sam has designed all of the branding and logos you’ll see on NewsVroom. Our hope is that this project will raise awareness of how these varied and distinct brands serve an array of needs throughout our community. There is no single solution for information needs any more. Smart magazine, GameTimePA and YDR.com each have targeted audiences and individual focus. Yet all work together to improve life in York County.

If you attend this Friday’s Central York football game, you should be able to figure our who that guy is who’s carrying the ball on the side of NewsVroom.

You’ll see us at the Central York High School football game this Friday night. You’ll see us in Memorial Hall throughout the York Fair in September. We’ll be in the York Halloween parade and at the candidates’ debate at the York JCC on Sept. 20.

And if you invite us to an event in your community, you’ll likely see us there as well.

Let’s get together soon and talk about how new media can do an even better job of helping people make better choices.

If you can read this in your rear-view mirror, you’re in the NewsVroom zone.
