GameTimePA is heading to Saturday’s White Rose Invitational at Central York

William Penn’s Corrine Rossum blazed to an easy victory in the 100-meter dash prelims back in 2005 at the White Rose Invitational.
GameTimePA is hitting the road once again with the NewsVroom.

The crew will be setting up Saturday at Central York for the 20th annual White Rose Track and Field Invitational.

We will be there bright and early — 7:30 a.m. — and the action starts at 8:30 a.m. About 18 high school teams will be there, including Biglerville, Central York, Dallastown, Delone Catholic, Hanover, Northeastern, Red Lion, Spring Grove and William Penn from the YAIAA. Christian School of York also is scheduled to be there.

The event itself is expanding — think more like community festival than track meet. Look for businesses like Rita’s Ice and Maggie Moo’s to be there.

Here’s why you should stop by the GameTimePA tent:

York Suburban’s Jon Salcedo jumped 18 feet, 18 1/4 inches during the 2010 White Rose Invitational.
