Congratulations, Susan!
Today, we showered editorial assistant Susan Mafnas with baked goods to congratulate her on 10 years with the company.
Susan is the one who makes sure your message gets to the right place if you send an email to news@ydr.com. She also handles Birthday Kids, Moving Ups and the business calendar you see in the York Sunday News, tons of Weekly Record news and distributes page dummies (that’s what we call the pages we receive from ad layout that show us how much space we have for editorial content), just to name a few of her many jobs.
Most recently, she tackled the annual Halloween parade and trick-or-treat listing, with the help of fellow editorial assistant Taylor King, which required them to call every municipality in York County.
