Community blogger offers lessons about building community
Blake Stough, blogger at Preserving York, leads a tour on the Shady Lane estate Sunday, part of his Preserving York picnic.
Over at my blog, yorktownsquare.com, I am discussing the success of a local blogger, Blake Stough, in creating community in York County.
That is, he developed virtual community on his blog, and he converted that into actual community, via a picnic.
So I cover what heĀ accomplished, what our news organization can learn from what he’s doing and how we’re changing, too.
Check out: Using York County history to create community embodies a modern trend.
