Place: Mazie C. Gable Elementary School in the Red Lion Area School District
Who was it named after? Mazie Gable was a 20th-century Red Lion teacher and principal.
Interesting fact: There has been a Mazie Gable elementary in Red Lion since 1964, but in the early 2000s, growth in the school district led to the need for expansion, and the old school was demolished to make way for a new facility by the same name. That school opened in August 2003 and was dedicated in the spring of 2004.
