Places: Alexander D. Goode Elementary School in York
Who was it named after? Goode was a rabbi and one of the four chaplains to give up his life as their torpedoed military transport ship went down in 1943.
Fun fact: If you don’t know the story of the Four Chaplains, it’s a good one – and back in 2008, there was talk of it being made into a movie.
