Merry Christmas, Only in York County-style
This photo is from my friend Tracey, who went to Washington, D.C., last year to see the National Christmas Tree. She didn’t know – though I bet some of you did – that it’s from York County!
The tree, on the Ellipse, across from the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, D.C., is a live 40-plus-foot-tall Colorado blue spruce, which was transplanted from York County in 1978.
And that, my friends, is Merry Christmas, Only in York County-style.
