A Yorkism that’s supposed to draw comments

The Yorkism I’m referring to in this blog post’s title is more of a pronunciation issue than a whole different word.

It’s “supposably,” which many of us like to say instead of “supposedly.”

Have you heard that? Does it bother you? I admit I’ve let it slip a few times, but at least i pronounce “library” correctly and not like “liberry.” Doesn’t that count for… well, something?
