York CWRT Releases 2020 speaker schedule
Kathy Friel and Scott E. Rosenau of the York Civil War Round Table have worked diligently to assemble an outstanding group of speakers for the 2020 campaign. The diverse mix includes nationally-known speakers and authors, a former college president, several noted Gettysburg licensed battlefield guides, professional historians, and a medical doctor. Their topics range from railroads to prison camps to medicine to Honest Abe, with plenty more interesting subjects sprinkled in for good measure.
As always, the talks are free and the public is welcome. The York Civil War Round Table meets the third Wednesday of each month except December at 7:00 p.m. We are fortunate to have the use of the meeting room of the York County History Center’s museum at 250 E. Market Street, York, PA. This partnership between the York CWRT and YCHC continues to assist both organizations in their goal of generating additional interest in history, both locally and nationally.
