Talented young local author signing books at Civil War and More! Two other writers as well!

I was privileged to write the forward to an excellent new Civil War book by Cooper H. Wingert, a young and talented writer from Cumberland County, Pa. His passion for research and his ability to ferret out fresh materials overlooked by other writers are amazing. And, he’s got a bright, bright future in the Civil War hobby. He is only 14, and this is not his first book!

Cooper will be signing copies of his brand new book, The Confederate Approach on Harrisburg: The Gettysburg Campaign’s Northernmost Reaches, on Friday, November 2, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 and again on Saturday, November 3, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. He will be at the bookstore Civil War and More at 10 Market Street in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, an easy drive from Gettysburg!

There will be a raffle, as well as refreshments, so stop by the store and say hello to Cooper!

Here is a blurb from the website of Civil War and More…
